HOW DO I BEGIN A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS?

If you have a desire to know God, then the Holy Spirit is already working in your life. The next “steps” are not a “to-do” list.

Rather, an understanding of what has already been done…for you.

We have all fallen short of God’s perfect standard (Romans 3:23).

He is Holy. We are not. Since we can’t work our way to a perfect God, He bridged the gap by sending a Savior, Jesus Christ.

“FOR WHEN WE WERE STILL WITHOUT STRENGTH, IN DUE TIME CHRIST DIED FOR THE UNGODLY...WHILE WE WERE STILL SINNERS, CHRIST DIED FOR US."

ROMANS 5:6-8 (NKJV)

TRUST HIM

Jesus died on the cross for our sins, paying a penalty that we couldn’t pay. When you acknowledge that Jesus died for your sins and receive the gift of grace and forgiveness that He offers, you are saved.

“So they said, 'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved,

you and your household.'" Acts 16:31

“For 'whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.'” Romans 10:13

TO GROW IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD,
WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO:

  1. Believe and Obey the Gospel.

  2. Read His Word (The Bible).

  3. Talk to Jesus in prayer.

  4. Tell others about your decision to follow Christ.

  5. Find a Church that will grow in your understanding of God’s Word.

  6. Demonstrate your new life in Christ by your love and concern for others.

The Bible says: “For whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13) and “Truly truly I say to you whoever believes has eternal life.” (John 6:47)
